8am- Cowboy challenge course walk/ride to demonstrate obstacles and judging
8.30 am - Karakia/Mihi
8.45 am- Rundown on the day's proceedings followed by a health and safety brief and housekeeping from Manaia Armstrong
9 am -Cowboy Challenge. Youth will go first followed by the open riders. Each rider will be allocated a number and the time they will be competing. All riders must be at the waiting area 10 minutes prior to their designated time slot. The waiting area will be clearly marked with signage.
12 pm -1pm Lunch time/ set up for horse sports
1pm-4pm- Horse sports event
4.30pm-5.15pm- Beach races. Youth division will go first, followed by the Bareback division and last will be the open riders.
